Whats New In 2026?
PorchJam 2024 was incredibly successful in enabling Jam Studios to subsidizing art & music scholarship, grants & programing. Moving forward, the RCA will be allocating funds raised by PorchJam.

How We Got Here
PorchFest (originally PorchJam) was founded in 2018 by local resident, musician and arts enthusiast, Dre Towey. In its Inaugural year, PorchJam hosted 16 bands with 404 attendees, in its second year (2019), 25 bands graced Rowayton’s porches with 667 attendees. (PorchJam plans for 2020/2021 were cancelled due to COVID). Eager for live music in 2022, crowds filled the streets and the event became “Rowayton’s favorite day” with a total of 30 bands/1544 attendees and then ultimately in 2023, PorchJam expanded to 30 bands/2453 attendees and 35 bands/2760 attendees in 2024.
Due to growing crowds, the need to use private roads, increased security requirements, Dre partnered with the Rowayton Civic Association in 2025. For eight years, Dre curated PorchJam with the help of her small board to support her (501c3) J.A.M. (Junior Art & Music) with the Mission; to provide transformative art and music experiences and the means to create for those in need. PorchJam is now run by the RCA (rebranded as PorchFest) but continues to support Dre’s vision.
